Stay overnight at the Mead Museum on Saturday, October 28th from 7 PM - Sunday, October 29 at 7 AM at our Haunted History Tours: Overnight Experience 2023! Tickets are $50.00 each with NO DISCOUNT ON MEMBER TICKETS & are NON-REFUNDABLE due to LIMITED AVAILABILITY! The event will include a midnight tour of the historic 1909 Mead Building where guests will be taken to places off limits to the public & staff will share their spooky stories. A team of paranormal investigators & a tarot card reader will be joining us! Snacks are included along with a continental breakfast in the morning. Must be 16 or older to attend.

Sign up for our science-based preschool program for our youngest learners. Literature, free exploration, sensory experiences, directed experiments, art and conversation will be at the core of the program. The overall curriculum is being designed on a 3-year cycle so children who start as 3 year-olds will have a new experience each year.

The Fall Semester starts September 8, 2023 and runs through December 15, 2023
This class will meet Friday mornings from 8:00am - 12:00 pm at the South Dakota Discovery Center in our classroom.

This Rapid City event will lead revelers on a thrilling journey through some of the city's most popular watering holes, including Murphy's, 445, Press Start, Firehouse, Skybox, Wobbly, and Abys. The Lake County Museum, in Madison, is hosting a "Beadle Hall Ghost Tour," on October 28 at 7:00 pm with the final tour beginning at 8:30 pm. Free Will Donation. Self-guided, candlelight tour. Guests under 14 yrs. must be accompanied by adult. Cider and donuts! Tour begins at the basement/north entrance of Beadle Hall.
