No one was killed, but the Kingsbury County town of Manchester, and several area farms, were destroyed by an F-4 tornado today in 2003. The half-mile-wide twister struck the town's main intersection head-on. A plaque listing all of the town's 109 former residents now sits at the town site, which is otherwise deserted.
