A traveling exhibit from the Kauffman Museum in North Newton, Kansas remembers the witness of peace-minded people against the First World War, 1914-1918. Witnesses included men and women, religious believers and secular humanitarians, political protesters and sectarian separatists. They resisted U.S. involvement in the war, the enactment of military conscription, the war bond drives, and the denial of freedom of speech under the Espionage and Sedition Acts. For this resistance many suffered community humiliation, federal imprisonment, and mob violence at the hands of a war-crusading American public. This exhibit lifts up the prophetic insights and the personal courage of World War I peace protesters, and suggests parallels to the culture of war and violence in our world today.

The Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation presents the annual Kenadi’s Karnival & Silent Auction Fundraiser.
Our celebration will once again feature carnival games and prizes, bounce castles, a petting zoo, balloon creations, strider bicycle course and races, train rides, face painting, Disney princesses & superheroes, photo booth, dunk tank, sweet and sizzling fair food, live entertainment and an amazing silent auction.
The 501(c)(3) non-profit Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation was created in honor of our little June bug who passed away unexpectedly at age five. Due to an anoxic brain injury at birth, Kenadi was non-verbal and confined to a wheelchair but she had a loving spirit, understood more than you realized and possessed great determination. During her brief visit on earth she touched many lives.
We continue to raise funds to build the all-inclusive Kenadi Jean Playground Destination in Spearfish, SD. This impressive and unique universally accessible play environment will welcome kids and families of all ages and abilities to meet, interact, learn and grow together through parallel play.

It’s summer break and a new group of tween girls are about to face their fears and insecurities as they learn to cope at Camp Libertas, where they’ll find only tough love, not loveys. While Major Marjorie and Miss Angie aim to lay down the law and turn another group of girls into young women, the little ladies’ sleep toys come to life with other plans. Who knows if the girls are ready to give up their loveys, but the talking, walking cuddly toys sure aren’t ready for the transition! So as the reluctant campers pack to get ready, the loveys stow away to stay near their girls.

Hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed
